An in-cabin fire on a June 2009 American Airlines flight from New York to Zurich is now being studied by federal arson investigators.

Unfortunately, on-board fires intentionally started by disruptive passengers are nothing new.

As detailed in my many books, aircraft sabotage by air ragers is a very real and common threat to civil aviation.
